Exclamation Need some cam swap injector help

Hey guys I just recently purchased a 228R texas speed cam. Im wondering if My stock injectors will be ok? or If i should go with something a little bigger?

I know guys have used stock injectors with this cam but if im not mistaken they were pretty high on the duty cycle.

anyone help me out?

If you do upgrade. Look into the Bosch 42lbs injectors through FIC. The flow 50lbs in the stock LS1 fuel rail. Priced reasonable as well.

Well I have some used ls2 34lb injectors with all the adapters, Just wondering if I need to use them or if it is just going to cause me a tuning headache.. Ive been reading some conflicting info though. I know people that have run stock injectors with a HCI setup and been fine but of coarse everyone on here tells me to go big or go home.. Id rather just sell the ones I have and get that money back if I dont need them..

The only way you can tell for sure is to measure the duty cycle. If you are above 80% at WOT, then you need to upgrade.

With stock heads & that cam your stock injectors are more than enough.

A lot of stock vehicles that I tune have more than 80% IDC. And my 434 RWHP 5.7 had ~95% IDC for years until I replaced the short block with a 418. Now I have the 36 lb/hr Bosch injectors that are just over 85% IDC.

It drives good and it didn't lose anything down low.
For a street car I wouldn't go bigger but I'm picky when it comes to driveability.
Very strong under the curve.
