Slightly lower peak horsepower and torque figures, will peak in regards to peak HP/TQ RPM about 100rpm earlier than the Stage 2 and will have slightly less overlap so it will sound just slightly milder, but it really isn't enough of a difference that you'd ever be able to tell power, sound or drivability wise.

The car had 243's milled to 11.0:1 CR, valve job on the stock valves, ported FAST78 with a 85mm TB, Ebay 1x3/4" headers, 3.5" merge, 3.5" cut-out into a SLP dual/dual exhaust set-up. Ignore the peak torque figure as it was due to a spike in the graph as you can see. It made 444rwhp/414rwtq with that cam which IMO for a "223" cam is very impressive! 3500rpm it has made 380rwtq and by 3800-4000rpm its made 400rwtq.

Just got this last night from member "FEAR LS" as he finally wrapped up his H/C install with the SNS Stage 2 "Torque Max" camshaft.

He has a TSP ORY and a Borla adj. cat-back, enjoy!

I am too! I want to see what it does on the dyno! Your car and about 3-4 others will be wrapped up shortly so I'll have some results from several different set-ups with different parts to show people when they ask the next time.

I love the idle. It's nothing so choppy that you couldn't take your mother or wife out to lunch or dinner in, but it's choppy enough to make people say, "I'm not messing with him that sounds like a big cam!"

The dyno graph I posted about 5-6 posts ago shows a dyno graph for a 223/235 110+3 cam which is nearly identical to it. The 227/235 SNS Stage 2 will make a little more power than the one in the graph, and peak slightly higher, but that's it.

Martin,
I was checking out the pictures of the head...look inside one of the exhaust ports. There is a piece of packing lodged inside stuck to the valve. Might wanna get that out before install.

I'll know and hopefully feel the same in about a week or so....if it sounds like that I'll be more than happy!!

I have the same exhaust with an electric cutout in place of the plate. But i keep it open at all times.

so we will see

Guys, I will make sure to post up my numbers once I get the build done. My setup will include AFR 205cc heads, milled to 60cc and the SNS Torque Max 2 cam (227/235 110+3 LSA). I've already got Stainless Works Long Tube Headers, Texas Speed True Duals and a SLP Lid. I will be sticking with my LS6 intake for now as well. I'm hoping this setup is good for around 440 rwhp and over 400 rwtq.

They should work well with that cam. Can't wait to see the results. Is Tick doing the tune too?

Nice. My heads are at 60cc, so the PTV clearance is going to be on the tight side, but should clear fine.
