Thanks man. And yes I do plan on tracking it - as much as humanly and financially possible. Will focus mainly on autox and hpde but it will probably get some strip action as well since I have a track pretty close to me.

I guess the one cool thing about taking forever to do anything is that I get to make upgrades to the motor before it's even been started for the first time.

Threw on an improved racing crank scraper - hoping that between this and the oil pan baffle, I won't run into any oil starvation issues on the track....that is assuming I ever make it to the track lol. Required some slight clearancing to fit compstar rods. Before/after:





In other news, I've been working on the headers. I know it's not "internal engine" stuff, but figured I'd share while I'm here. More details in my thread in the conversion section for those interested (linked in sig). Thanks for looking.
