Default cut out options

I started thinking about one of these since I just purchased a SSRA and ported throttle body....I figured the TB, SSRA, and a cut out would create a nice flow in/flow out type scenario...creating a few hp. I don't have much cash at the moment and was considering a manual one. With exhaust mods in my sig do you guys think this would be a worthwhile mod? I mean my system is really loud and raw as it is, but would it be quite a bit meaner sounding with a good cut out? I will be doing a Flowmaster merge with a Magnaflow 14419 muffler at one point as well. Also, I hear that some cut outs create less ground clearance. Is this true? I plan on lowering the car at some point with some Strano's or BMR's, and don't want even less clearance than I will already have with the long tubes and ORY. Any thoughts opinions, feedback, etc...would be appreciated!

Thanks!

You wont notice a difference because you already have an open pipe lm1.

I have 2 cut outs on mine and the last pass of the year I finally CLOSED them both in an attempt to slow the car down to avoid getting thrown off the track for running faster than 11.50 without a roll bar. Last run of the year...capped them, ran it, dropped time from best of 11.31 to an 11.22, promptly got shown the door. Video in sig.

Thanks guys! Yeah i'm starting to wonder if it would be even worth it, but it's a really cheap mod if I go the manual route

It would be louder in the car. I don't think you would notice a difference outside the car tho

Kind of the lowest point . If you see in the video like @ 1:03, you will get somewhat a better idea how it sits @ stock height.

I got the low profiles for a reason. I plan to lower and do not want to scrap the **** out of it haha.

I should take a pic how it sits @ stock height..never gave it any thought.
