When I get the block I'm going to crack it open no matter what and at least replace the bearings and buy OEM rod bolts
Spend the $$, you will already have the rods off. It would be ideal for you use ARP bolts since you should re-size/check for roundness for OEM replacements as well.

I used to spin my cam-only LS1 with a PT7675 on it @17psi to 6500rpm making over 700rwhp for a long time with no issues. Looking back on it, I should of spun it higher.

I wouldn't mind doing the rod upgrade but like I said that would slow down the build. Do those rods work with the stock pistons? And I would also have to get my rotating assembly balanced?

I would run it stock. No bolts, no upgrades, just LS9 gaskets and turn it 6500rpm. Keep it at 650rwhp and you'll be golden.

I think people have forgotten or don't realize just how much power 650rwhp is.

I just feel hesitant about reusing the stock bolts after breaking the motor down the torqueing them back to check clearance them then using for final assembly. I hear you can only torque the factory bolts 3 times? That's why I was leaning to New OEM bolts..what do you think of this?

I would say 600-700 and keep the rpm down along with a good tune. Plenty of people that make more, BUT not everyone gets lucky for extended periods of time. Either way there is no guarantee. Things happen unfortunately.
