V.2 Polluter on a 111LSA Idle!
#62
Keep in mind, if you want anything higher than stock compression you will have to fly-cut with either V.2 Polluter cam, especially the 111LSA as the exhaust clearance is tighter with it being on a 111. What you can do though is either run a 243/799 casting which has identical valve drop to it's 241 brethren so you end up with the same p to v with stock valves, but you get a 64.7cc chamber instead of the factory 241 67cc chamber. What you can also do is go aftermarket casting with a 13* valve angle with a 65cc TFS casting and have the added benefit of a larger intake valve and exhaust valve along with the added compression a 65cc chamber gives you, while still keeping stock or slightly better than stock P to V.
Also AFR has a 64cc chamber in their 215cc head and since the head is cast that way from AFR you retain stock or very near stock P to V while gaining compression.
I believe PRC also offers a 62cc chamber with their As Cast 225cc heads along with their 227cc heads(the 227's may be a 64cc chamber). Since they have a 13* valve angle and are cast with that chamber volume instead of being milled, you end up with the same P to V or slightly better P to V than stock and more compression.
So there are several ways to gain compression with a big cam while keeping stock P to V clearance. If it were mine I would still fly-cut and mill to the maximum amount of compression I could run with the pump gas that is available to me in my area. Whether it be 91 or 93, the most compression you can safely get will always give you the best drivability, the best throttle response, the best power production and the best track times you can get.
I like to keep the dynamic compression ratio at 8.5:1-8.6:1 and under if 91 octane is all that's available, and 8.9:1-9.0:1 if 93 octane is available.

Awesome info thanks. I was staring at those PRC as cast 225 and RHS 225. They were kinda what i was thinking. Being not far down the road they will get mounted on a LQ4 thought they would compliment that set up as well. Right now they will be going on stock LS1 M6. How well does it like N2O? My goal is 600 rwhp on the spray and at least 450 rwhp N/A.

And I told her exactly what you said about that and she doesn't believe me! I think she thinks we are trying to kill her LOL. I'm sending her over to this thread so you can tell her we aren't playing around here!
