Default need a little help with lq9

Im planning on buying a lq9 and I already have dart 205s and a cam froma previous project. My question is will theses heads and cam work on a stock bottom end lq9. Dart 205 heads have 62cc chambers and the cam is a 235/243 .620/.623 111+4 lsa cam. If anybody has any idea if it will work or not and what I would have to do to make it work thxs. Im not to worried about compression seeing I might run e85. thanks again

Assuming your parts came from another LS based project Yes they will work. Make sure you measure your piston to valve clearance ensure you have adequate clearance. I believe it's .080 on intake and .100 on exhaust. Also make sure you measure your pushrods as they more than likely will change as well.

I personally would go .030 bigger than the bore size of the engine: EX 4.0 in bore I would go with a 4.030 head gasket. Also I would go with a .040 or .045 thick head gasket. Keep the quench tight to reduce the chance of detonation.
