How to install link bar lifters?
This is probably a dumb question, but I want to get it right before the new Trick Flow heads go on. I have a new set of Lunati high RPM link bar lifters for my LS1. I have the stock trays and lifters off. How is the link bar orientated? What seems logical is the bars are towards the top, there is more room that way. The one page instruction page that comes with the lifters doesn't say which way they go. I've googled the net and can't seem to find a definitive answer, although I found a photo showing them that way (see link).

More research reveals most people install the link bar up towards the valley (center of the engine). This seems to be a throw back to the small block Chevy era when installed the other way sometimes caused interference. One person I found installed them link bar down in a LS1 and seemed to have no ill effect. Looks like I will install them link bar up unless I hear otherwise.
