LS1 Low oil pressure. Any more ideas to try before I buy new engine?

Hmm I did just rtv the bottom of pan after cam swap a few thousand miles ago. Really doubt that little of silicone could plug up the screen that bad though.... No way it would bring me down to 0 oil pressure. And as long as I ran the engine I'm sure I f'd something up if that is the case.

Did you allow the RTV to cure for 24 hours before you filled up the pan with oil and/or start the motor?

Sure did and it was't all that much.

I had the almost same issue going on with a 2002 LQ4 that I had swapped into my mustang. Cold 50 PSI hot 0 to 10 PSI. My problem was the O ring on the oil pump pick up tube. The one that came with the new oil pump was wrong. I had to use the red o ring from GM and the problem went away.

So what would be more fun a 402 CI N/A motor or a Forged 346 with a D1sc procharger?

deff a procharger, I could never go back to NA after tasting some good ole forced induction power.... but the 402ci would be easier for a daily driver though..

Cool looks like I'll stick with my procharger kit. Just need to order the rest of the stuff for my forged 346 from Kyle at TMS! Also planning on putting in a level 5 tranny from RPM transmission while it's out!
