Default FAST 92 Track Gains

Hi guys, my current setup makes 470WHP @ 6550RPM, and has a great powerband (torquey cam), the car makes over 400WTQ from 3500ish or so and carries for a while (the dyno sheet is on this forum somewhere). To make a long story short, my current setup traps about 122, full weight, with average air. If I were to install my FAST 92/92 setup, what kind of gains would I see in my trap speed? I really would like to hit around 125 with this current setup, and was told that the FAST intakes really help the MPH on these cars. With that said, anyone swapped one on their car, tuned it, and compared track times? I would jump for joy if I picked up 3MPH from that intake/TB setup.

Thanks.

EDIT: Just looked at my dyno sheet, makes 400 WTQ from 4000(ish) and above.

I think you'd be close. 124-125 depending on the air. I'd add a Chrs1313 Ram Air or SSRA as well. You'll definitely hit 125 with that and the FAST. Ram Air is good for a solid 1-2mph in the 1/4.

I agree that adding a SSRA or Chris1313 would be fairly cheap insurance to make that 125 mark You car makes such great numbers as it is i'd almost be afraid of messing with it lol

chris1313 non a\c is worth 2+mph by itself so id really hope a fast 92\92 combo would pick up a bit more then that...

It's still only 20HP. Every 10HP is maybe 1mph if you're in good air... That is until you hit about 128-130. Then air resistance becomes a factor and you need a lot more power to go a little bit faster.

Oh man, now you guys are really making me think lol. I didn't post it up but I was going to remove my AC, install my lightweight k member, and install the FAST 92/92 at the same time. If my ricer math serves me correctly, that should be a 126ish car if I do this "ram air" mod at the same time.

What kind of da does your car trap 122 in? Mine does almost 123 in -130 da with fast 92. Mines an auto though. #s in sig maybe it will help you figure something out?
I agree with everyone else. Get a good CAI kit. My SSRA was worth a couple tenths when the car was lid, full exhaust with stock stall.

Not sure what the DA was...it was probably 65* the day I was at the track, not too crazy humid. IMO, that is "OK" air. I have raced in 40* weather before (live in NY) with no humidity, THAT is good air. I have an SLP lid with a ported MAF, that is all I plan on doing intake wise besides the FAST, and maybe this SSRA everyone is talking about. I will have to do some more research on it before I do anything like that though.

dude if you get a port matched 92 on that very nicely put together setup it should have no problem of a solid 25hp which will deff get you to your 125 mph goal in similar weather. Im curious to know what your setup is because those a good numbers without a fast setup

Thank you for the compliments regarding the build. I did spend a decent amount of time putting it together, and it turned out better than anticipated. Here is a link to my build thread and dyno thread. If you have any further questions, just ask.

4.10. M/T ET street, 255/50/16.

I made a post about this before actually, if I go to a taller gear like a 3.73, would I pick up some MPH on my trap or no? I generally do a lot of roll racing, so MPH is mainly what I am looking for.
