Default different cars with different LS1's (converter help)

Hey guys,
im from Australia, i drive a 1999 VT SS commodore(4L60E & LS1). i am looking for a torque converter and because buying from the states will save me like $300-400 that is what i want to do.

I have been looking at summit racing website (links below for converters im looking at). my question is, what is the difference between a corvette and other LS1 applications? i noticed all converters had something like this to say under the application:
1998-02 F-body LS1/LS2 applications and 1999-06 trucks w/ 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines. Will not fit 1997-05 Corvette.

i just want to make sure i buy the right converter as shipping is very expensive to return one of these ($140ish)

I would deal with a company directly. Get in touch with Yank.

I would call Dave at Yank directly and he could set you up with a converter that will match your goals exactly.
