Let me know how they turn out...I need some heads for my sns3. I was considering some ported 243s.

I got a quick question, if the pic that has No.1, No.2, etc, whats the difference between the different rows?

I was looking at the flow sheet for my TEA 5.3 1.5 heads and you have about 23cfm on me at .600 but my exhaust is a little higher.

Just curious.

Thanks! I bet the 150shot will be fun on this setup! I should have motor back in the car this weekend after I check PTV clearance.

I could not be any happier with a set of heads. Mike was great talking to and even talked what cam specs would be good for the heads. My next set of heads will also go to TEA
TEA/Mike is Awesome!! I really wanted AI heads at first but I like being able to call and have someone answer all my questions(too impatient to wait on emails LOL). Ill definitely send my next set of heads to TEA.

I will definitely keep the thread updated with results and videos. How do you like the SNS3 so far?

No. 1(exhaust) & No. 2(intake) are the prc stage 1 ls6 heads
No. 3(exhaust) & No. 4(intake) are the TEA stg2 ls6 heas with 2.02 intake valve.

I'd like to see a copy of your flow sheet if possible.

Congrats .
A lot of times a larger valve is not needed to achieve great flow. Whenever you have a smaller orifice, that can flow just as much volume as a larger orifice the velocity of the smaller orifice will be greater.

A lot of that is in the different valve jobs that are required for the different valve sizes. Also just a slight variance in contour/radius on the clay being fixed to the port that is measured can vary flow numbers a good bit as well. How many numbers are you + or - in comparison?

I would look no further than Ai or TEA. You cannot go wrong with either, just remember with the aftermarket sized valves you will lose P to V clearance from the increase in diameter.

Thanks for posting the graph! What size valves do your heads have? At about .400 lift on the exhaust side your heads start picking up good.

Thanks man. I'm pretty sure they are 2.02/1.55. I hope to run bottom 11's but my car is a pig so I'm sure if I will get there or not. Looking for a new cam at the moment.

You definitely should, I wouldve liked to see the 11.1 pass! Also is your yank 3600ss really tight? I have the same one and it seems extremely tight compared to my buddys circle D stall

I would have liked to see it too! LOL
The car is a little slower now. I added weight. Its nice having ac and seats back in 120lbs extra is not to bad though.

The yank seems pretty tight. I have nothing to compare to but its great for my car.

Those are solid numbers on those heads. You will have a strong car. I had ported 243's on my car before my turbo setup. It was a 347 cid, full weight car, M6, ran 10.90's @126.0 on a 1.6 60'. Ported stock casting are very capable. And not just the 243's. Too many guys get all geeked out about aftermarket stuff and miss the truth.

CHS stage 3 heads and forged bottom end. Compression was 11.0:1 I was running 25X/25X custom solid cam and shaft rockers. FAST 90 intake and TB and headers of course. It did this on pump gas/103 mix. If I could have launched this pig I believe 10.70's would have been easy. But I went turbo instead.
