Default Its Alive!! VIDEOS ADDED!! TEA stage 2 ls6 heads paired with the Tick SNS stage 3 cam

I had a valve break on my old setup (torquer v3,Prc stg 1 ls6 heads) and decided to change my setup around a bit. I swapped the torquer v3 for a tick performance sns stage 3 cam and sent my heads to TEA for their stage 2 port program(I kept the 2.02 intake valves and had heads milled to 62cc chambers). Hopefuly I can get the heads installed soon but for now I figured Id share some photos of the heads. Sorry for the cell phone pics!

Thanks, I had the itch since it broke last fall but I'm taking my time and doing it right.

I'm impressed with how they turned out and Mike at TEA was awesome to work with getting these redone. I ready to get it together and see how it performs.

I am strongly considering them for a future build also.

Every search with TEA LS6 heads, those heads always made power and performed and didnt cost an arm and a leg.

Going to be a killer combo OP. Heads look great. Makes waiting for my AI heads to arrive even harder.

Impressive how it still flows as high as if it's got 2.04 valves , then i don't see any needs of bigger valves .

Congrats .

Congrats, those look great. And I completely agree, Mike was great to work with.

I just got my TEA Stage 2's in a couple of weeks ago, and will be using a 231/235 .61x/.62x with it. With the heads milled to 62cc, will your 235/239 fit without flycutting the pistons?

My midlift numbers were better with the 2.04 but it gives up a little at .200 and surprisingly, at .600.

Thanks! Mike was pretty happy with the results with the 2.02 valve. He said they flowed 335 @ .650.

Thanks, I wasn't really wanting to flycut but to get the compression up to around 11.3:1 I had to. Martin at Tick assured me it'd be worth it. The cam specs are actually 235/243 .620/.624 111+2

I'd like to see your graph if possible? I was on the fence about using turned down ls3 valves 2.04 or staying with what I already had. Decided to use the 2.02 to keep me from having to flycut as much.

Great choice on those heads man. My heads are the exact same specs to the T.
I could not be any happier with a set of heads. Mike was great talking to and even talked what cam specs would be good for the heads. My next set of heads will also go to TEA

Senical,

I hope my car runs as good as yours, I doubt I will 60 ft as good as you though. You still running the 7.5 10 bolt?
