Default Manton 11/32 pushrods...Vendors and Members please chime in

The quest for optimal parts for my build is still underway. I've checked my regular vendor lists and dont have luck. Does any VENDOR or MEMBER know where i can purchase Manton 11/32 pushrods?

Is there a benefit in running these over stock diameter on a mild setup? Jake I saw in your build thread you are running them we are basically running the same setup.

My understanding is its for better valvetrain stability and extends the life of your parts. Jake might be able to explain it better. I also read a link written by vettenuts that was posted on CF
here goes: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...stiffness.html

Those are the biggest that will fit stock heads. A stouter pushrod can help with stability, especially if you have flex. If you don't have flex, it buys you very little. But there is no downside besides potential clearance issues. I wouldn't swap out hardened 5/16 if your setup works. If you need new pushrods, might be worth the few extra bucks.

Call them direct they ship the same day they are ordered. I run the 11/32 in everything. They should not even be close to hitting anything

They are good people Terry was a really good guy glad I got to meet him a couple years ago.

Call them directly. I called a few years back to ask some questions. Terry later called me from his car and then made me a custom pushrod with removable end so I could play with the pushrod length by cutting the tube. He was great to work with and from what I have read the company still carries his ethic. If you call them directly and order, you will have them in days to any length you request. Note that they use overall length and not gauge length for their measurements.

Smith Brothers would be another excellent option.
