Ive always wondered if these were any good for a daily. How much did it hurt your gas milage?

perfect cam for a daily, has a little negative overlap, should even work well with stock manifolds. Get a good tune to maximize results and the only thing that is going to hurt your mileage is your right foot.

I haven't check the mileage yet. But if I lost any it can't be much. I filled the tank and drove an hour and 20 min to the tuner. Made 5 pulls. Drove an hour and 20 min. Back home. And I still had a half tank of gas. That's with 3:90 rear gears as well. And me hammering the petal

Just as a side note. Mine has been in since June 2003 and about 20K miles. Nothing but routine maintennce on the car. When the cam swap happened I did chjanged just about every maintenance item:

ASP Pulley
Oil Pump
Timing chain
Valve seals
gaskets
thermostat
LS6 intake
Hotcam kit

All were done at the same time. Stock pushrods. All were straight so they got re-used. I fugured if it came off the car, I wanted new going back on.

I got 24.5 mpg between Stl and Springfield, MO with 4.10 gears, and running at a pretty good clip.

Read the contrary here from users. That camshaft requires free flowing exhaust.
