Default I have a question that I've had mix responses.

Would this fit on my 4.030 block?

Or would I need smaller pistons?

I'm not sure what your question is. The ad says it is for a 4.030 engine bore, so if that is what you have it should work.

I honestly didn't read it right. I was just assuming that the pistons were 4.030 size and was wondering if they would fit because the bore it self is 4.030

when getting en engine bored. you should already have the pistons and send them to the shop so they can clearence it properly. but yes. that kit is for a 4.030" bored block. the pistons size is not actually 4.030"

i hope you dont plan to order that lunati kit....

for one. its not balanced. you'd have to pay a shop to do that ($300), second. i would NEVER buy any rotating assembly of any kind off of ebay. good luck getting the sellers customer service to help you should anything be damged or wrong. you can spend the same amount of money as on that kit with better parts going with a TSP assembly or similar from another site sponsor. you'll get superb customer service, and help getting what you want for your money.

kit i bought. and splurged on some upgraded pieces. and had tsp balance it for 225

They also mentioned that this lunati kit is forged from the pistons to rods to crank and can handle 1000 HP easy

TSP's gear is forged and will handle it too. it always depends on your options and what you want....

At the end of the link the options also offer a lunati crank so might not be so bad

After choosing all the options on your link I end up with same or if anything more than 1600 bucks.

after you edit options you always will end up with more. but you will end up with better parts than lunati.

with the lunati set up. dont forget you are not including balancing in that 1900 dollar price.... roughly youll end up spending 2200 after balancing. so anything you pay for TSP's gear under that is a win for you.

i went with compstar crank/rods/wiseco-3 cc pistons/balancing

and balancing, the ebay lunati kit doesnt offer it.

my suggestion:
TSP Crank and rods
the mahle pistons
and balancing

comes to just over 1800
