Is anyone running the PRC 215cc CNC'd heads?? What are your thoughts on them?? How about in comparison to the AFR 215's??

ive done research on both them, and read quite a few threads comparing them (cough). IMO do your research see what you like. Personally im going with the PRC 215 for my combination. Both are proven heads.

I had the PRCs on my old car when it was head and cam, and when I put the 408 in it. With a milder cam and a fast 92, made great power both ways. Great quality.
Never personally owned AFR's, had a bunch of friends with SBFs and they always ran great and were great heads. Hard to beat either one.

Something else to consider with the AFR's is that unless you get powdered guides installed, you also need to run roller rockers. The bronze guides they use offer better lubricity than PM but wear quickly when side loading occurs (i.e. the stock rockers above ~.550" lift)
That being said, I'm going to be running AFR 215's on my build. I have nothing but good things to say about Tony, he has taken the time to answer all of my questions (and there have been many) in short order while remaining very patient and very professional.
