I will go fast but I need a 12 bolt first. My car will not see the track untill I get the rear.So I thought with that power it would be a safer to have my stock gears in.

Re: Rapid Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Cam
Those are GREAT numbers for that dyno, and killer low lift flow numbers for an LS-1 casting head. Should not have to "over cam" those heads to see good numbers.
Mike- Is this the same cam grind that you posted stock head dyno numbers (A4 car) a while back? I am guessing no because of the low RPM peak. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail with details.
Thanks,
-Nick

Re: Rapid Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Cam
Screamin' i'm not bashing your setup at all. Great flow numbers, great combination, great results. I wish you the best with your car and I'm sure it will perform well. You said you changed gears to 3.42's just to get comparable numbers to other people, that's gay and you know it.
That's exactly like skewing flow bench numbers to match someone else's bench for comparison sake. It's about before/after results and how well the car runs. You can't race a sheet of paper.
Mikey,
I'm not bashing. I'm not saying anybody is trying to skew results for any particular agenda. What did I say that was bashing his combo? You even said yourself in this thread that you're not into comparing numbers between benches....so what gives?
I would like to hear about the LS6 porting and what gains you've seen? thx. Any flow numbers?

The car will get a rear and you WILL see 10's this year as the combo sits. I dynoed 334 with boltons on that dyno and I went 11's with an M6. Getting used to the clutch will be my hardest task LOL.

Screamin' listed he had a ported LS6 intake. What are the specs on that custom cam?
Screamin: Yeah i know about marketing, but are you selling your car or something? Why do you care? What the heck are you doing without an underdrive pulley, that's about 10rwhp right there, probably more than the gear swap. I'm just giving you a hard time that's all.
Good luck in joining the elite 10 group, it takes a lot of work but sure feels good when you get here. You definately have the power.

Re: Rapid Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Cam
I just want to say how happy I am with the package. If I could see more hp with an UD pulley it will be icing on the cake.
I just want to comment on the service I have.Mikey has been in constant contact with me letting me know the progress. I have never dealt with anyone car related that gave me the service he has given me.
He was litterally on thedyno yesterday an hour after he had a root canal. The pain killers wore off and he still tuned my car regardless of the pain.He shows great dedication and a genuine care for the customer.I consider Mikey a friend more than a business associate. I would highly recommend anyone going to him for parts or service.

Re: Rapid Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Cam
Cam is a 230/230/112.
Intake is ported and port matched. No more details than that

Re: Rapid Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Cam
I sure would like to know how you went 11.9 with 334RWHP too. My stock WS6 M6 should dyno about 310RWHP and I have gone a best of 13.1@106. You must have one hell of a launch! I would expect this from an A4 with a stall but I haven't seen a M6 with some bolt-ons with only 334RWHP run ETs of some H/C packages.

Zturd trapped 115's with low 12's and he dynoed 34x/35x to the wheels. I still believe there will be higher results on another dyno.
