Building a home made 390
I am building a turbo engine for my s10, Looking to make some pretty big numbers with a rear mount setup, I am in the middle of building what was going to be a 370 but due to some setbacks I am left without a crank. I was looking at the callies 3.825 stroke crank and it's priced pretty reasonably. Plus the extra cubes will help get that rear mount off its *** and spool.

Now before everyone starts telling me to just buy a AES shortblock. I already have a fresh new LQ9 block from ATK performance thats already been bored .030 sitting in a crate, I already have a brand new set of weisco pistons as well heres the specs on the pistons
Part Number: K444X3
Bore Size: 4.030"
Comp Height: 1.300
Stroke: 3.622
Rod Length: 6.125
0 Deck at: 9.209 / 9.236
Std. Deck Ht.: 9.240
Vol: -11cc
Comp Ratio w/65cc Head: 9.7
Comp Ratio w/67cc Head: 9.5
Comp Ratio w/68cc Head: 9.4
Comp Ratio w/70cc Head: 9.2
Valve Pocket: LS1, 2, 3, 6, 92
Given what I already have and the 3.825 crank im trying to figure out if the 6.125 rods will still work with this crank. Im no expert when it comes to this stuff so im just looking for some guidance. Just looking to see if I can buy the right stuff to make this work, if not I guess I will just keep it a 370. Thanks

Rod Length
a = Cylinder Block Length
b = Deck Clearance
c = Target Compression Height of Piston
d = Stroke of Engine
Formula: a - b - (c + (d / 2))
Example: 9.025 - .025 - (1.0 + (3.5 / 2)) = 6.25
