horsepower peack too low?
ok,had my car dyno tuned after heads and cam.see mods in sig.i gained 30 rwhp and 30 rwtq.good gains, but the peaks seem low,322 hp at 5600rpms,and 332 tq at 4000rpms.this was on a mustang dyno.i was expecting around a 6000 rpm peak.also, now the car doesn't want to idle in gear.(when i left the shop,it idled almost as good as the stock cam, barely a hint of lope).it surges then wants to die.i'm going to call mon. when they open and have them look at it again.i cleaned the wires on the maf before the dyno and bent one of the wires .could this be a problem?i 'm not throwing any codes, and the car runs good except for the idling problem.

Do you have a graph with the A/F that we can look at? I ran a TR220 and 5.3 heads a while back. It was a 112LSA 108 ICL and it peaked at 6100 RPM. Your 114 should peak a little higher than that. It almost sounds like it is advanced too far or off a tooth.
