Cam only ok ??????
So to all the bright lights out there, if 3/4 race cams exist they must have a parameter. Logic?
Give me the parameters of a full race cam?
And BTW guys, I'm 50 so it is old school enough.
(Between us, it was just a term used back in the days where dumb asses couldn't explain that they have inside their motor)

I think the guidelines are something between a rv cam (1/2) and a race cam (1).
Best I can tell is a 3/4 race cam is a super badass lopey awesome kick you in the nuts street car cam.

Ok, so according to your legend, if .750 lift is 3/4 then the full race is 1 inch lift? Please try to visualize 1 inch lift. Ok now try putting that in a stock 350 sbc.

I have some old uncles that ramble on about 3/4 and full race cams, makes me scream inside, but I stay calm and respectful while they spew their BS. Aftermarket performance 50+ years ago was VERY different from today. 3/4 race was a nickname used if you were lucky enough to own an engine that had aftermarket camshafts available. The "3/4 race cam" was eventually offered to fill the gap were a "semi-race" and "full race" cam was already available. Like the Mopar "purple" cams, the "30/30 cam", and more recently the "CompuCam" and Ford "letter cams". Numbers fade with time but the names stuck.
The point is, while the name doesn't divulge the specs, it certainly doesn't change the FACT that they existed, AND STILL DO. Those Crane Energizer lobes are probably older than you!!
If someone tells me they had an old 327 with a double pumper, Offy manifold, camel humps, pop up pistons, 30/30 cam and Tri-Ys I don't roll my eyes. Because that's what they had 40 years ago!
Edit: So do you get all bent out of shape when someone comes on this site asking about a Magic stick or a Trex?

I just spank them
250 is quite a lot of duration, .600 isn't much lift.. so if your going that route you should get 1 7/8" headers and at least a FAST 90 intake although 102 would be better.
