We have not spotted the hole, but it might actually be on the passenger side.

maybe its higher up the block...all the oil I saw was on the drivers side of the pan. Maybe the wristpin broke? and went thru the top of the block???

Were you able to find where the oil came from? I don't know what to say. Feel free to pm me if you'd like to discuss anything and definalty go with somebody else for your rebuild.

That really sucks man. I couldn't imagine having to endure such a thing after what you have ALREADY been through...
If you still have any juice left in the tank (motivation), give Futral Motorsports or APE a call. They'll build you a bad ***, RELIABLE motor, and will stand behind their work 150%.......without the attack of CAPS LOCK

I really do not know where the oil came from, Im sure we will find out soon enough.
I do note listening to the video that there is a mechanical clinking noise, which I thought was from the solid roller tubed mustang next to my car in the other lane, but listening to the video im not so sure now. I did not hear that noise when I was standing near the 30' mark and the cars were at the line, but I guess someone pointed that out to later on. Still not sure whats going on there.

Hope we get to line them up sometime. If mine goes there is no one to blame but myself

I feel for you man... How much total do you have tied up in this mess now?
