Stock 2001 241 castings flow 236 at .500" 243cfm at .600". Stock #243 LS6 castings did flow 276 cfm at .500" and 287cfm at .600" on my bench. Others like ARE have gotten very similar test results as mine. LS6 head maintains more flow with intake bolted on than LS1 heads. This accounts for some of the gains made with LS6 swaps. Ported or stock .

..they cost $980 per head from SDPC and do not require a core charge...they flow 315 at .550 lift
..they are new castings not old castings re-ported!

The peak # on the intake side was 289 and that was at .550 they go down hill quickly after that.

each of the GMPP CNC ported by lingenfelter have a tag on them that tell you the flow at diff valve lifts i forget what the #'s were on the last set i sold but the cust is very happy with them just my .02

Jay, if you're right and they come with an honest to goodness flow sheet and I flow them here at my local shop and the #'s match I might be calling you or SDPC. If they don't make the numbers claimed will they take them back no questions asked?

315cfm at .550 is more like a flow number for a fully ported Stage II LS6 head from LG, MTI, Absolute Speed etc., not the CNC heads offered from Scoggin Dickey.
If those CNC heads flowed that well everyone would be buying them and the sponsors wouldn't be able to sell any of theirs.

I agree with above post about 315cfm at .550" being stage 2 ported heads. JimmyZ my bench is a SF600. I think problem with SDPC LS^ CNC is too big a port volume(250cc) for the flow that they have. Mine flow better and my port is only 221cc finished.

You got 326 from STOCK CASTINGS????
I've seen a ton of differences from flow bench to flow bench.. putting some clay around the ports to simulate an intake can result in close to 50 cfm!.. I had my stage III MTI heads flowed recently, on two identical benches. One with clay around the ports, one without. I got 289 on the without, and 335 with..
How are you guys testing? With or without something to simulate an intake????

The flow results that really matter are the ones with intake manifold bolted up to ported head. This is indicative of the flow motor can expect to see. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
