Although, I don't have them, nor do I have experience with. But if they are half as good as Brian's other endeavors and customer service......
No doubt, if I didnt already have the new set of LS7's. I would have them.

I think you made a great choice. Like I had said before, my two finalist were the AI Dart/RHS head and worked over Brian Tooley heads. When I was e-mailing back and forth with Brian about his worked over TFS 220cc heads, I was blown away at the price he quoted me for his hand work. I would have figured it would be double that. His works speaks for itself and he's a great guy. If I ever step up to a big stroker engine, I'm going to see if he can work some magic on my AI Dart/RHS heads.

You made a great choice. After my experience I will never recommend anyone deal with AI again. Phil is certainly not the nice guy he first appears to be nor does he know as much as he leads on.

Yep, you made the right call. It's a long story. I'm not going to come on here and bash him because AI heads make good power. However, the cam Phil sold me is just not what I was looking for. It should be making more power than it is. I'm swapping it out ASAP for a Tick grind. Martin has been excellent and I know he will sell me a cam that I will be happy with.

I was looking at getting an AI port and cam kit, but bad customer service will probably make me stick with just a head port which I've read is great, tick really gets a lot of customers from great customer service...

You can't go wrong with Martin. Any cam I need in the future, I will get from him. His knowledge and customer service is next to none.

Yep. I regret ever giving AI a dime right now. I should have gone with TEA.

So what did the car run and what did you want it to run? Or are you mad at a dyno...

Maxpower 454 I wouldn't let those dyno numbers get to me.its a guy than goes by the name crazy elf on here with ai 226 heads 226/234 ai cam and a fast intake circle d stall its in a t/a. Similar to your build I thought it should make 450+ but only 427 rwhp.with all that said this is a fully dressed car daily driver and his first past was 11.0 1/4 mile still fine tuning I think that is a hell of a car to be that fast for the weight.i also see others that have 450-500 rwhp and got their self a 12 second ride.give me a 416 rwhp car that runs 11.0-10.90 any day over a 450rwhp car that can't burst a grape with a metal hammer.go to the track and see what u got b4 u buy another cam just my 2 cents

A dyno is a tool for tuning. It can also be a tool to let you know something is way the hell off, but you have to have numbers that are way the hell off.

How do you know it was the cam?

I had one of their setups on my car and I made 462 rwhp with only one of their 226/230 camshafts, their 799s, and a fast 90. I just ordered their basic off the shelf version, nothing custom.

Their setups are great, you have something else going on.

If that wasn't a dynojet sae corrected, then you are chasing ghosts.

I just responded in your thread..

You have 4.10s and an ls6 intake with a stock TB. Those are stellar #s for that combo. Stop chasing ghosts and slamming a good vendor based on skewed and innacurate dyno numbers.

You are mad because Phill would not take back a camshaft after 5-6 months?.. Seriously? And in this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1618078&page=4
You stated your car made 426/405 with all kinds of problems. Seems AWSOME to me for having 4 bad coils AND actually hydro-locking the engine with fuel.

I can only speak for my own experience with AI, which was excellent. All emails were answered promptly, and they met the timetable they laid out for me at the beginning. Hope your car works out for you in the end.
