Yeah I'd go bigger, I think I'm going to go with a G5x3 or a comparable FMS cam this winter. I really don't want to pull the heads but the 232/230 is TAME....

Just wondering what time and mph you guys that are saying go bigger are running.. I know a lot of people with bigger cams that are running slower than me with my lil ole TSP 228.. It aint so much about the cam as it is the combo..

7.3's out of a heads/cam car Eller is not a huge huge accomplishment. Alot of cam only, and stock internal cars have run much faster.

i will say in order to run 6's without nitrous your going to have to get more agressive. I don't think that cam is going to get you there.

I think you will see very little difference between the cam you have and the one you posted. I doubt you want to do a cam swap to go the same time or be slower so stick a X3 or something bigger in and be done.
You are right it is all in the setup. A 7.28 is a good time but could get better. Your 60ft needs improvement. I dont know if you are spinning or what the problem is but you should be doing 1.5's easy.

Really? at 3700 lbs? Your boy was a tenth slower last time we ran at the track and his best is what a 7.18?
