Default push rods rub on the side of the head

What would cause my push rods to rub on the side of the hole through the head, what do I have wrong?

no they are non directional. did you tighten the rockers while they were on base circle or just go and tighten them all at the same time?

When I built the motor years ago all was to spec and push rods are 7.400. I used the TQ Specs from LS1Howto.com This motor was built back in 2006 not sure if the new owner JP had any work done or changed to it.

I can't remember the details but some were finding near stock setups with this happening. Have you tried a search? I think the posts were likely 3 or 4 years ago.

I just opened the push rod holes up a little I think it might have been from having the head resurfaced. the motor is up and running now.

If you had them angle milled for intake fitment it's a good chance you just found snd fixed your problem
