Have they worked on LS engines before?

If not then go somewhere else..

Those prices are right on par with what other shops charge 200-300 to balance rotating assembly... Mine was 200, yours is 300 so not a huge deal..

Figure 100/hr in labor..

Not 300. It's 400 to assembly it. I do know how to put in together and run all torque arm. But don't know what size rings need to be files and need to know how to correct measure on main and rod bearing. If anyone have good instruction I might able follow that one and try do myself. I had done built with SBC old school engine. But ls6 is different.

Just to clarify I said mine was $200 to balance the rotating assembly, and on your list you have it at $300... I wasn't talking about assembly..

anyhoot, since you have never built a LS engine I would wait and take it to someone who has...

$300 is a tad high on the balance, but the rest seems reasonable.

Btw, you're in Georgia?

Take it to Spartan Performance and let Josh take care of you. He is Damian on here.

That or Ron @ Vengeance Racing can help you out. They use ProLine Engines for their builds.

Both are on the north end of Atlanta.
