I don't understand. I thought TSP sold PP heads, period. So, if what you say is so, I bought a set of the PP LS6 style heads back in November from TSP. Are they TSP designed but machined by PP? The box they came in was from PP in Alabama. And the reason I am asking this is Gomer hyped these heads so much with the 451 hp (I think thats what it was) and I know he was changing to a second set of heads by PP because he said originally the first set was a prototype from Patriot, then he's switched to "TSP designed machined by PP" without saying why, there has been a lot, an extreme amount of problems hyped on this board about PP heads, whether it's warranted or not, and he's always been there hyping Patriot. I just want to know if he's changed from the PP head or not and if so why?

I will clarify what the PP/TSP heads are.The heads are designed and ported at Patriot.Texas Speed buys the heads,sends them to the local race engine builder that "hand finishes" them to race style heads.The heads gomer is running was designed and ported at Patriot,he has not changed.

What about TEA? I put down 413 locked. 398 unlocked with lil ole 1.5s with a small cam (X1) by todays standards. You cant beat the performance for price. They flowed:
I E
306@.600 267@.600

Exhaust is flowed with a pipe , how it should be done. Take away the pipe and you got 230s or 240s on exh. No solid track times, but ran a 11.46@ 118.8 with a peg leg rear(1.61) in southeast Texas.

Get The MTI Heads and send them back to Jayson for a freshing up,I have seen both heads and MTI is alot better looking heads,just my .02

These heads are cheaper than ARE 1.5s?? who makes them and how to get in touch....??

Sorry it took me a while to respond.. but I've been working on the car today. The heads that are on my car are the same set of heads I made 474rwhp 421rwtq with that was ported by Patriot. I sent them to TSP to have the "race port" upgrade, which was hand finishing of the Patriot head. The only reason I sent them to TSP instead of Patriot was that Terry is working on about 50 sets of heads for Summit Racing right now and he didn't have enough time to hand finish my heads.. so I sent them to TSP for the quick turn around. So to clarify, the heads that are on my car are Ported by Patriot, and then hand finished by TSP. I made the numbers above BEFORE I had any "hand work" done. I haven't dyno'd the car since reinstalling the heads that have been upgraded. If anyone isn't clear.. PM me and I'll explain in more detail. So, to answer everyones question, I'm am and always have been a diehard Patriot Nutswinger... But I swing on TSP's also

GTP is owned by craig gallant. he has been doing LS1 heads longer than PP, TEA, AS..etc. he is a genious when it comes to porting heads. you can go to GTP-racing.com. and check out what he has to offer. you can also contact thunder racing for info and they will agree that GTP has some of the best heads around. talk to Jason, he does R&D for thunder and is a LS1 guru. his car went 10.59 N/A with GTP S2 heads(not the S2+). prices vary on the services you want.

FMS is a great shop and makes some killer *** cams. My 474rwhp proved that. IMO.. nobody can go wrong with ANY of the Sponsors over there on the right ---------------->>>>>>>>>>>
