I understand wanting to avoid buying the parts, but sometimes it's just easier to bite the bullet.
That intake needs to come off though. If it was leaking coolant (and not just some coolant had collected somewhere and ran off) then there is an issue that cannot be solved with the intake on the car...period.

Another question that is a little off topic, but I have an oil leak that is progressively getting worse, and I am pretty sure it is coming from the rear main seal. I also have noticed that my oil pressure keeps getting lower. It probably runs at like 35PSI now cruising at 1500 RPM's. Could the low oil pressure be caused by the bad rear main seal? Or is it the rings and bearings?

Easy test. Get in and set your heat to blow through the dash vents. If it only blows to the floor, you forgot the little vacuum line that works the vents on the back of the intake. I had a new vacuum elbow split on me back there. ..same symptoms.
As for oil pressure, you could have broken the opsu...everyone seems to when doing an intake. Or it could be the pump oring too, or bearings, but my guess would be opsu..and it would leak out the back.

I broke the opsu when I took it off but put a new one on there. I really dont think I broke it putting it back on and even if I did wouldn't it be reading zero? The oil drip has been a problem ever since I bought the car last march.
