Default Brand new motor not running

I just had my ls1 rebuilt in my 1998 trans am and after I got it all put back together I tried turning it over all it does is spit and sputter a little bit, but never starts....

I did check the spark and it seems a little slow...only sparks like once a second on each cylinder...the only comparison I have done is on my brothers corvette...his is a very consistent spark.....I have checked grounds and I am lost...any help is much appreciated

Have you checked the coil wires? If there flipped around that could be and issue

Coil wires were my first guess. We had just two that were glipped and it ran but barely. Fixed it and she ran like a top.
