Man, it's crazy how many of these posts start the same way, without any contextual information.

Brother, we need to know what kind of vehicle it's going in. Car, truck, boat, submarine? Manual or automatic? What stall and gears?

Finally, what do you plan to use it for? Drag racing, autocross, badass daily driver, a bit of all three?

Ive heard the f13/14 is one of the best cams you can buy for a stock cube ls1 but bigger isnt always better. The best advice someone could give you is to get in contact with one of our sponsors i.e. Martin @ Tick, TSP, Brian Tooley, or FMS and they can set you up with an off the shelf cam of a custom grind to fit your build and needs. If your serious about buying a cam pick up thr phone and talk to the pros!

If you don't plan on working the heads or intake, etc...then you don't want something too big. It will actually be slower in many cases

The truck might be a bit heavy for the StreetSweeper cam...

You should get heads first before a cam. Chances are you get one of those cams, then later on bolt on a set of worked 243's or 241's and youll get drug by a car with a better combo just my opinion though. Been there done that

For a truck with a T56 I would highly recommend the SNS Stage 1 LS1 camshaft. It is 223/231 .610"/.617" 110+2 and makes plenty of torque to get that heavy truck moving.

I think the cams you have listed so far will make big dyno numbers, but would lose to a smaller cam on the street.

Well, the Stage 2 SNS cam IMO for your set-up would need more compression for such a heavy truck.

That said, what does a 91 C1500 weigh?

If it weighs 5000lbs. then my recommendation is the Stage 1 SNS cam or more compression and the Stage 2 SNS cam.
