First Do Longtubes
Budget => Pacesetters
Plenty money=> ARH
that along with a good Y with or without cutout or something like true duals with X/dumped.

-Also being a A4, you'll need to stall first if you're gonna cam or wand a good performance increase for $$ spent. For street I recommend Yank SS 3600
-1999 LS1 will need an intake, cheapest being LS6 intake or go to a Fast straight up.

Now you would have most major bolt ons, you can cam the engine.

They're cheap. Take that for what it's worth. Listen to what Predator-Z just told you.

If you plan to lower your car and want to maintain as much ground clearance possible then the BBK headers do tuck up really good, but their not stainless steel. Now if rust is a concern where you live then I'd go with stainless steel headers like the TSP 1-7/8". If your budget permits then go with ARH 1-7/8" headers. As far as intakes the LS6 or a FAST, if you want a aluminum intake then look at the BBK SSI. You'll also want to get a higher stall TC .

Lol sounds like he can get ahold of a used set fairly cheap!!

I would go TSP 1 7/8 since its affordable and stainless steel...

Underdrive pullys are a good place to start as well. Inexpensive bolt-on power for sure.

Congratulations on your purchase. I went from a 95 Formula to a 99 Trans Am. I have had the Trans Am for over 10 years now. It's such a great car.

LT Headers and a FAST (or LS6). Can't go wrong.
