Well, you could alway run this aftermarket filter (I got it yesterday). The Canton not the Hansens

Although I heard that if you use any other filter then a stock one then you should change your fuel pump and something else... But let me know how that one works out for you!

Go with an OEM filter....its all you need and its what I use. AC Delco makes quality parts. I carefully used needle-nose pliers on the "quick-connect" fitting and then 2 open end wrenches on the threaded outlet fitting. Make sure when putting the filter in that the line is far enough inside the filter that it doesnt leak. Hopefully this fixes your problem...
