Where is the fuel filter on a 2002 Z28 Camaro and How do you change the fuel filter on a 2002 Z28 Camaro...and what fuel filter would you suggest to use on a bolt-on car

The parts store will have the #. Doesnt really matter which one. Its behind the left rear tire and very easy to change. I do mine every 20K.

why would an oem be better then an aftermarket?

Well, you could alway run this aftermarket filter (I got it yesterday). The Canton not the Hansens . This ***** is big and flows 90gpm and has 1 micron filtration, the filter is removable for replacement.

Damn that filter is HUGE!!!! Let me know how it works on your car when u put it on... Although I heard that if you use any other filter then a stock one then you should change your fuel pump and something else... But let me know how that one works out for you!

Go with an OEM filter....its all you need and its what I use. AC Delco makes quality parts. I carefully used needle-nose pliers on the "quick-connect" fitting and then 2 open end wrenches on the threaded outlet fitting. Make sure when putting the filter in that the line is far enough inside the filter that it doesnt leak. Hopefully this fixes your problem...

replace that bastard every 9-10k miles or you'll smoke the fuel pump, our gas is fuct...i use fram or ac delco parts as well..
