when i did my heads and cam i had a bad miss, and it turned out that one of my plugs wasn't gapped properly(in fact there was hardly any gap at all).did you check the gap on your plugs before you installed them?do you have auto tap?if you do,try scanning it to help narrow down the problem.it could be a number of things that is causing it to miss.does it run good otherwise?

its kinda weird, ill be accelerating and ill feel it like randomly miss here and there, and then if i put it in cruise at like 2k going down the road it just misses about every 1-2 seconds, however...when i stomp on it, at about 3500 it just get smooth and pulls like a ****, so i dont know? can tuning fix this?

Check and make sure all your plug wires are on all the way. I had the same problem with mine and one of the plug wires was not push all the way on the plug.

you definately need to get a tune to make it run smoother.after mine was tuned the idle was so smooth you couldn't tell there was a cam in there, and you have a bigger cam than me,so your tune right now is probably pretty far off from where it should be.double check for vacum leaks and like slow01z/28 said check to make sure your plug wires are on right.

Well with 59 cc heads you're sitting around 11.4>11.6 CR depending on gasket used. What is the gap on your plugs. If you still run stock at 0.050 that is too big (I would reduce to 0.042>0.045). With added compression and increased cylinder pressure, your spark could be "blown off" intermitently and misfire.
Double check plug gap, wires to plugs and to coils, get a tune and go from there.

Mine does it. I thought after putting in a larger cam, a random miss was normal.

What plugs did you put in? When I had bosch platinums in, it would randomly pop and backfire. PUt the usual ngk's back in and it never happened again... Something to check. Also check for a cracked ceramic on the plugs

i have tr55's in it, and i replaced them after the car was all done and running and i was gentle. the old ngk's didnt need to be replaced but i figured i might have cracked one during the install, so i replaced those, and the wires...another 50 wasted dollars i guess...

i had my headers just dropped down when i did the install...there was some stress on the wires, but nothing extreme..it the plus was knda half cocked or loose, or even out all the way..would that cause a miss?

it almost sounds like you are describing the hesitation and jerking that a big cam will make a car do. mine will do this at 1600 rpm no matter if i am cruizing or just going around town. does it jerk a little and then you have to give it gas to smooth it out??

its kinda like that mike, but the problem is, even if the engine isnt under any load it misses randomly...for instance, if i sit in the driveway, in neutral, and slowly take it from 900 rpms all the way to 3000 rpms ..as it climbs it will just miss here and there, and of course..the higher the rpms , the harder it is to notice the miss..but with true duals and bullets, you can really hear it the little pops here and there
