Heads Suggestions For F13 Cam???
Just starting research for the direction to take on a solid set of heads to go along with my mods in my sig and my new Cam setup. Im attracted to a responsive type setup with heavy midrange power. Please offer up specific routes to take and your .02 cents on why it would be a good choice or WAS a good choice for you if you have a similar setup. Thanks again!

What's your budget?
If you have around 1300 or so, you can do either Livernois LS6 heads (no core), Ai Ported LS1s (your core), PRC LS6 with stock valves (no core), PRC 5.3s (no core), or TEA heads (your core).
I'd probably either do the AI HCR 219 option or the Livernois LS6 heads. Both would work well with that cam and make a ton of torque in that ~$1300 range.
If you want to step up to $1600 or so, I'd look at PRC 225s or TFS As Cast 220s. Both make insane power.

The biggest issue with spending so much on the heads ($400 vs $1300) is that I would feel like it was a waste if I didnt upgrade to a FAST intake as well....Wich as you know is going to cost at least the around another $900 on top of the $1300 for the better heads....at least with the $400 heads I can get away with the stock intake or at least settle for an LS6...what do you think? Tq monster sounds pretty attractive though I must say lol.

I have the F13 and 243 heads on my 99, pretty stout for a low budget setup, picked up the heads from another local member that spun a rod bearing in his Trail Blazer SS. I had the heads cleaned up, milled around .020 and valves lapped. For springs I used BTR platinums and BTR pushrods...
