Default LS1 Rod knock or lifter noise? **Video included**

So the other day my full bolt-on, 00 WS6 M6 started making a tapping noise. Sounds like a screwdriver tapping the valve cover. I checked every available surbace with a stethescope, above and below but nothing obvious. The noise is loudest around 2k on the accel, with or without a load. non-existent at idle. Oil pressure is normal when cold or warm. I use mobil 1, 5w/30. It has 182k, but it is well maintained and those are mostly highway miles, I personally put the last 60k on the car myself. I hope its a lifter and not a damn rod knock. Any ideas??

I made the video on my iPhone, and it sounded great... on the iPhone.

Exhaust leak.

What exhaust are you running? LTs, Y pipe, cats, shorties, no cats, factory..... whatch got? Sounds like the goods inside the cat have came loose or a muffler packing has came loose.

There were only a few times I could hear the noise. That clattery ticking sound is a lifter sound if I'm hearing it correctly. Or dunno how hot the motor is could just be normal ls1 piston slap also. need better quality audio.
