Not sure how many vendors have them other than TSP. Seems they have a really good one for around $4k for LS6, but trying to see if there are other alternatives that won't break the bank.

My problem is my current motor has a few cracked rings and everything needs to be replaced and refreshed. Just trying to see if there is a cheaper alternative to cut down costs and just getting a short block already assembled.

Appreciate any guidance. Can shoot me PM's as well for any info.

wanna try stay with ls6 block and less than 4k for something decent for up to 600hp at the crack.

Kyle is a great guy, I'd vote Thompson. My aluminum 5.7 from them is doing just fine, and by what I saw when I picked it up, I would have no doubt of their ability to build you a nice short block with what you want for cheap. Give them a good look
