Default Recommendd me some parts for heads

Need some "budget friendly" roller rockers. For what its worth, I have a TSP torquer v2 cam, prc dual springs, and hardened stock length pushrods. I do not need the best on the market. Also, recommend some valve seals and seats. Thank you.

Do you actually need roller rockers or do you just want them?.

That being said, most "budget" roller rockers do more harm than good. They tend to be nose heavy and seriously put a work out on the springs. Also, the added weight can cause valvetrain instability, which will quickly eat up any power gained.

If you truly need them, spend the 1k plus and get a set of good rockers such as T&D or Jessel.

The simple fact is, the stock rocker is a very good piece. It is well balanced and lightweight, and with a trunion upgrade, they will work just fine for 95 percent of applications.

Good question. Do I need them? Im doing a head swap and my new heads dont have rockers, so I thought I could upgrade. I have a tSP torquer v2 cam, and PRC dual springs. So I dont plan on competing for land speed records, I will keep stock if they will continue to work.

Agreed. Unless you have a larger cam that pushes on the outside of the valve tip because of high lift, you don't need roller rockers, and nobody needs budget roller rockers.

YT were advertised as Ultra Light.
What do you think of the upgraded version? They can't be as light....

Question for you BWW,

I have a set of ready to go stockers with the trunion upgrade. I'm running the updated YT now.....
Were I to swap for a race or two, think it would go faster?
I bet it would at least be quieter.

^^ changing the "uncaged" needle bearings of the trunion to a "caged" version that won't allow them to slip out into the engine.....

It's basically a U shape that has the needle bearings sit inside of it and are locked in since there is a lip on both sides of them.. Kinda like book shelf ends...

Lol hope that makes sense
