Yeah, like Martin said there were too many results out there comparing the 2 intakes and the Super Vic always made more power in every application. Anytime you can add plenum volume the power will come up across the rpm range.

I finally got a chance to drive around this weekend tuned. Man its just so responsive, and 7200 shes still pullin HARD. I can't wait til I can go to the track!

I'd love to see an "in car" video of you cruising around and getting on it. Your build has got me wanting to do this so bad. By the way, how long till your hood comes in?

My hood should be here beginning of next week. The ony complaint I have is at around 3200 rpm the throttlebody makes a hell of a noise while accelerating lightly. Its weird. I thought it was valvetrain noise but it dosent do it in neautral only under a light load. Almost like its turbulant at that certain throttle position. No big deal just weird. It only does it with the air filter off so I know its the throttle body. Im gonna build a box/filter housing to fit the hood. Just for ***** and giggles when we had it on the dyno we put the little crappy airfilter on it and made a pull. It killed the power by 50 RWHP!!!

Damn, I can't believe the air filter hurt it that bad. That about the same HP loss you'd get with an elbow. What did it end up putting down?

449.8 with no filter. Thats through a th400 4200 converter and a 12 bolt in 90 degree weather.

Damn. That's impressive. I'd love to see what a setup like this would do on my M6 WS6 with my AI heads.

Prob high 480's and alot of RPM! **** if the combo is optimized, 500 wouldnt be out the question in good weather. The key in my setup is it made 440rwhp at 6000 and climbed gradually carrying the horsepower all the way to 7200 before we shut it down! Most conventional style intakes peak and start falling off. Its a really flat strong power curve.

That's kind of what I was thinking. If I do this, I'll for sure have Martin spec me out another cam to optimize the intake/TB. I'm actually writing down a list right now of all the parts I'll need to see where I'll be at price-wise. I'll be able to sell my LS6 intake/rails, stock TB, SLP lid with filter and MAF, along with my SNS Stage 2 cam, so I'll be able to get a decent amount of the money back.

OP, did you happen to keep a list of everything you needed to make this conversion? If so, would you mind sending me a PM of what all I'll need. I'm sure I'm not thinking of the little things that are needed to make this work.

That is awesome, sounds tough! *edit* So what power did it make with the Fast 102 setup before the swap?

^^^ Thanks man. Bad *** beast you got there. I love your thread in the Dyno Results section. I've read it like 3 times. I bet the reason yours didn't carry as high as OP's is due to the heads. He has TEA TFS 225cc's and you've got 317's, correct?

IllusionalTA, maybe you can help me here. What else besides the Super Victor intake, 4150 TB, fuel rails and gaskets would I need to make the swap from LS6 to Super Victor? Are there other odds and ends that I'm not thinking of, and if so, what? I think this is going to be part of my winter project.

What's the ballpark figure on what those items would cost? I assume you needed those parts when you did your swap.

You can always count on spending 500-1000 on incidental stuff.. depending on your current state, can swing that number higher or lower..
