So exactly what heads would i be looking at to do this or get close? Whats a ballpark on cam specs? And how do u determine what is a safe max rpm, is the valve train the limiting factor or do u have to take into account things like bearings and length of the stroke?

You want cathedral or square port. For cathedral, TFS 265cc or All Pro heads. Square port heads, you could go with Mast.

I'd talk to Mast and see what they say. If you got the cash, you might as well go with their 2 piece intake too.
