Default Simple question... Easy answer???

just bought a cam for my ls and I was looking at springs.. the ones I'm thinking about going with are good up to .600 lift. my cam is .598 .598. are these springs going to suffice? it seems extremely close and I just want to get a second opinion. thanks for any input.

IMHO...I would get some .650" from Texas Speed.

What does the cam manufacturer suggest?

Cheaper and have yet to have a reported failure.

or step it up a notch and get titanium retainers.

J, one doesn't choose springs solely on lift capabilities. That is only one criteria and the spring pressures are what should be looked at.
Look at PAC or PSI, can't beat those beehives with stock valves. If duals then look at BTR (Brian Tooley) springs, like the platinum's.
