High oil pressure, 02 z28

High oil pressure, 02 z28 I cranked the car this morning, and my oil pressure gauge read 60 psi.. Generally idles around 40. At 2500 RPM, it's completely pegged out. My poor aluminum block.. All I've done is change the oil filter and make sure thr levels are correct. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to start?
