What year and what make of car? That will tell us what intake manifold is on it.
What's your catback? Stock?
Ported Throttle Body?

Lots of options here...

A FAST Intake will be great but if you're on budget, then get the LS6. Maybe a cam later, but It depend on your goals/emmisions, etc. Is it Auto or Manual??? Daily Driver, Street/Strip weekend car or both???

Its a Street/Strip/Weekend car. Not to much strip but I when I take it down the track I would like to have some impressive numbers. It's an auto. Will an Ls6 intake bolt right on?

Yes the ls6 intake will bolt right on, you'll just have to chisel off the ribs on the bottom if you plan on keeping the stock coolant line that goes under the intake. Id do the ls6 intake with a potz ported tb, then look for a good converter. The converter will wake the car up and can lower your et at the track a good amount. I run a 3600 stall w/ 3.73s and its great for the street.

I would go cammed / stalled and you'll be set. Obviously get an ls6 intake if u don't already have one.
