Good plugs and wires that don't break the bank.

We use the MSD wires and our own brand here as well. The MSD's are very affordable and have a bendable boot on the plug side so you can angle them out of the way. Our wires have a 45 degree boot on the bottom. I prefer ours even though they cost a bit more, they are more robust.

EGR valve with hose $120(price from dealership, the hose is what cost)
O2 sensor $85
$210 labor
I mean did they really take 3 hours to figure it out and replace parts? I told them first thing look at 02 sensor. That was the last thing they looked at. I'm about to go up there and complain a bit.

Well, I didn't complain after looking at the invoice.
$209 parts
$145 lab
$36 tax
I don't guess it was 2 bad. Only 2 hours on labor. A car is going to have a minimum one hour labor no matter what. Even the Chevy dealership is $78 an hour.
Plus that EGR valve hose had 2 holes in it so big I could put my index finger through it. I don't have the that sound on left hand side of car that sounded like a vacuum leak.
And on a big positive note. Car feels like it has 75 horses or more than when I first got it 4 months ago. It pulls so hard that I'm having problems hooking up. It's even worse if I start from a slight power break. Either I got to learn how to drive or get much better tires because it's boiling the tires off now. It barely squalled them even before I started having problems. Driving way way way way better now than it's ever had.

I've been running the MSDs for nearly 5 years with headers. Never a burned boot or any issue with them. Off at least 20 times. If the engage click starts to get weak you can tweak the clip inside the boot with needle nose pliers. I had to adjust a couple of mine last go round. The bendable boots can even clear 1 7/8 headers. I think I will be going firecore50 next round though I'm like gonna end up paying double, but Ive got nothing but love for MSD wires.
