Take a look at the Tick performance Emissions Friendly cam, it's very similar to the CheaTR V3.

X2, there will be no customer support so I would look elsewhere for a cam.

Geoff @ EPS can most likely ground it for you since he used to work at Thunder before breaking off and starting EPS.

Any of the vendors can get it as well since it used standard Comp Cams lobes.

Or just buy my uninstalled V3. I do have the cam card if you want also.

My sleeper cam I speced in 2008 was a 218/230 .605/.604 116+2 and made 422rwhp through 4.10s with ported 5.3 heads and went 10.9@127 in my C5.

This never ceases to amaze me !!! Back in the day a 218 cam in a 350 or
400 would probably run thirteens. Hell even in a 454 perhaps mid twelves.
But I saw a vid of this pewter Vette and man; high tens with a stock type
idle in a 346 incher is no F&#kin' joke !!!!......

That Texas mine shaft air is part of it. I used to go out there every spring to a NHRA Winston Points meet at a Texas track to set a NHRA National Class Record because of the good air. Green Valley Raceway (not there anymore) near Dallas/Ft.Worth was a great place to run. A fast track with real fast air. That place was good for 2 tenths of time.

I have a very lightly used sleeper cam for sale. Made 366/340 with no other modifications and sounded stock

I wouldn't call it mine shaft air as the DA was around 0 and the track elevation is around 600'. My dad raced at Green Valley back in the day before it closed... not sure what you're comparing it too, but Houston tracks are ~ a tenth faster than here...

Obviously your CNC 5.3 heads, intake, exhaust, gearing, and tune all played
a part but my point is that everyone thinks you need a 230 plus at .050 cam
to make good power and yet your combo continues to prove that a properly
matched combo with such short intake duration, coupled with stellar driving
can still get it done !!!!.....

Thanks and completely agree, a well matched combo that makes good average power is going to be quicker than a peaky combo even if it makes more on the dyno and that's speaking from experience of beating C5s with 228r/V2/G5X3 cam and 243 heads

I have to disagree, the people that think that are in the minority, and usually ignorant to the facts.

FWIW, here's the dyno after I went to a 231 intake lobe with similar IVC point and it only went 1mph faster at the track in similar weather conditions...
