The cam is just not feasible. You need to decide what your going to be doing with this car, then adjust accordingly. Most people start off with the basics, headers, lid and an ory. You can't just throw a cam in and think it's going to work. That cam in your setup would be like having an elephants dick with a hamster pee hole. Do what is appropriate for your application. that cam is fine with stock springs and everything else. All you have to do, it take you stock springs out turn them over, and re install with the reatins and locks. Upside down the stock LS1 springs work fine with 650 lift, They will sit on the valve seals now, and it shims them so have have more spring pressure
the trick is to keep the stock pushrods. So when they run out of spring room the pushrods just bend a little. Then the valvetrain is setup to the MAX spec. after then bend to fit.
Put the spring on dry, start the car cold, and let it bounce off the limter 6-7K for 10mins. That saves time over the older 30min cam brake-ins doing it and 2-K rpms (3 times the rpm= 3times faster)
