Recommendations on exhaust?
Alright, I have been debating, searching, and still not too sure. Wanted to hear experiences from fellow ls1 owners.
I have a 2000 T.A.
This winter, I plan on upping the exhaust. It's mostly stock now (got some better cats and a magna muffler right now, but that is it).
I want to do true duals if there is an easy and affordable set, and of course long tube headers.
But, willing to do just good LT headers and a good ORY pipe if nothing affordable is around.
Main thing: good, deep sound, good airflow and NO CATS. (I will put in a catted y pipe for inspections, thus exhaust needs to be flanged, not welded for the y pipe).
So, what setups are you guys running? Let's talk

I'm running Pacesetter long tubes and ORY with a Flowmaster merge pipe and a Magnaflow 14419 bullet muffler. Pretty cheap setup, and has a nice deep tone, but still loud
Budget? TSP 1-7/8 and their ORY. Cheapest 7/8 header, cheapest ORY, and a decent merge at that.
My old car I did Pacesetters (no TSP 7/8 option so the pacesetter was best budget brand...) and TSP TDs dumped. Sounded WICKED and when I put a cam on, was perfect.
Good luck.

One thing forgot to mention is that I want tips out the back still. Don't want it dumped before the back of the car. The T/A's got indents just too perfect for exhaust not to show
I have Pacesetter LT's, TSP ORY, and Borla Cat back. Sounds low when you need it to be, and loud when you hit it. But never to raspy, just real throaty. I know the Borla is more expensive, but worth it in the long haul.
I think I may do a little budget setup for a while and just get some texas speed LT headers and ORY from them. Would hook right up to my muffler (magnaflow) if I need it or could just delete muffler if I needed/wanted for certain applications.
I just looked up the sound of texas speed headers/ory w a magnaflow exhaust and sounded great. Plus I have heard really good things about texas speed headers, especially for the money.
Thoughts?
(would go true dual down the line when im actually getting real power from this thing)

The TSP 1-7/8" LTs and ORY is all stainless and is of good quality. Pair that up with a Magnaflow and you have a pretty economical system all the way out the back. Full stainless to boot.
Some may not like how mellow the Magnaflow is, but it is a good quality system that flows well.
TSP also has the Rumbler. It'll be very loud...
