Im not sure but i think one time i saw someone comparing that and a LS1 and said it made 15-20 more. It might have been a high rise i cant remember

The mid-rise will kill your power if it's an n/a car, so don't bother.

There are several people on here using them. The problem with them is they don't clear the cowl on a stock F body and require some cutting to fit.

IIRC that intake likes a different cam profile compared to a plastic intake due to the different runner length.

curious to see if anyone has real tested results on these as they are cheaper than the fast units.

That's why i posted here cant find any testing except on a ls3 based car where the high rise made more than a Fast.

With a high-rise, you're going to lose wipers... A mid-rise will require some cutting and you'll need subframe spacing to keep the wipers.

Honestly, just go with a FAST.

That's why im leaning towards the FAST. The car has 11k miles on it, I don't want to cut it apart.

Isn't there a low rise Holley intake? I think the intake would be great, given you have a correct cam profile to match it.

I think the intake is promising given the number of options you can choose from, (runner length etc.) It even comes with the rails and everything you need to install. The price is what makes it so enticing. Its like half the price of the FAST, but I want to see some dyno results comparing the two, or at least a comparison to a ls6 intake or even a stock one.

TTT Does anyone have pictures of the Holley Mid Rise in a gen 4 car? I would like to know to what extent, if any, were cowl modifications made. Also would like to see some true dyno pulls comparison between the mid rise and the fast. Thanks
