You actually have plenty of room to mill on those heads if you wish. Just give me a call when your ready to order those up and I'd be more than happy to discuss your options on that set up.

Awesome! So I won't have any PTV clearance issues even if I mill them?

TSP recesses the valve a bit to help. They'll sell you the combo that they know will work.

If you want a ton of PTV clearance, get the PRC 225s As Cast. At 62cc with the 2.04" valves, they have as much room as stock heads.

Which will flow better? And don't know if I really want heavier valves. An it's not that I want a ton of clearance I just don't want to have to fly cut the pistons.

They flow pretty similar. The 2.04" is heavier, but both use stainless valves, so both are heavier than stock valves.

I've asked them before about turned-down LS3 valves and they don't offer that. TEA and Brian Tooley offer that with the TEA ported stock heads and TFS aftermarket casting heads.

We can spec it so that you will not have to flycut the pistons.

Anyone know what kind of power it will put down to the tire? Longtubes, x-pipe, fast intake unported, these heads and this cam. Along with under drive pulley, 42# injectors, and tune of course. Thanks.

Everything else being stock, I'd guess 440rwhp peak, and 410rwtq peak. I had the same heads milled to 59cc on my 347 LS1 with a couple different cams. The Fast intake was a waste of money.

So what intake would you use? And I'll be using stock crank rods and pistons with arp rod bolts

For every 1 lousy FAST report, there are 100 that show a pretty substantial gain.

Especially on this forum when everyone wants to sell/port one for you.

It's an overpriced part for sure. But that's because no one else has made one that actually works better than stock.

Now, if a Super Victor would fit without requiring you to destroy your car, that would show huge gains over a FAST... At a much better price. That's what we need more of, but the cowl and the position of the engine in the car is pretty horrendous from an intake manifold perspective.

Hell, the truck intake is better but it won't fit.

If money's no object then just buy the Fast intake, or if you already have it just use it. Else use the LS6 intake, tune it, and monitor how much your MAP kPa drops at WOT... the further it drops from 100kPa, the more of an intake restriction you have. The 2-3kPa gain the Fast gave me was not worth the price of the intake and a matching throttle body.
