Default Question about heads for 01 z06

Hey all, soon I am going to get my cam/heads done for my 01 z06.
I am looking at either the AFR 205 vs 210 heads or anything within the price range. I want to try to avoid flycutting with any of these heads if possible.
Current mods for the car are:
Kooks 1 3/4 (catless)
Stock intake for the time being,
(Looking for Fast 90/92+LS2 TB (whichever I get beforehand)
Mantic ER2 clutch
I am currently looking for Heads for the car, I have a custom grind cam going in
235/243 .620 .623 @ 114.4
And I am stuck looking at heads. Currently I have my eye set on the AFR 205 as its a proven combo, but I also saw the AFR 210s and wondered if they would perform better in my setup, Also would I need to flycut with my setup?
Thanks.

You could save a little money and get your heads worked, 243 heads are good

The motor would be apart, and I planned on getting heads in the future, but since the motor is going to be apart, I rather do it now with heads such as the AFR 205 or 210. The question is, if I go with AFR 210 heads (66cc) and the said cam, would I need to flycut to be safe or should I stay with the 66cc and not mill?

Go AFR 215 and don't mill those. Talk to Tony Mamo.

Yea tony Mamo is mr.afr so his word is pretty much gold. For what it's worth you can make your z06 heads pretty potent for much cheaper, but conversely you can make some money of them towards your new heads

I would save your money and get yours worked or another set of 243s/799s and have them done up.

Just sent AFR an email, would the 215 (unmilled) provide more clearance than the 205 (up to the point where I wouldnt need to flycut) ? If so, how about the power difference? Thanks.

Unless you're buying used, you're not getting 205's. They're discontinued.

I'd go with the 215's and not look back. Sell your 243's.

My Camaro #'s were with AFR 205's and much smaller cam than yours.
